What is a book or podcast you love?

I love A Bit of Optimism by Simon Sinek because it inspires me to stay grounded in purpose and to lead with curiosity, even in uncertain times. The conversations remind me to focus on what truly matters and to approach challenges with hope and intention. Listening to it helps me bring more meaning and optimism to my work and life.

Tell us about a mentor or teacher who changed your life?

My middle school English teacher changed my life by believing in my potential before I saw it in myself. She pushed me to do my best and helped me realize how smart, creative, and capable I truly am. Her mentorship gave me the confidence to embrace challenges and grow, and I’m forever grateful for her support.

Which of the Curious Cardinal values are you most passionate about?

I’m most passionate about having a North Star. Knowing my purpose—to help others feel seen, understood, and empowered—keeps me focused and motivated through every challenge. When I align my work with that deeper why, I feel energized and inspired to make a meaningful impact for students, families, and mentors.

What impact would you like Curious Cardinals to have?

I want Curious Cardinals to help every student uncover passions they didn’t know they had and gain the confidence to pursue them. By connecting students with mentors who truly see and support them, we can inspire curiosity, growth, and a sense of purpose that lasts far beyond the classroom. My hope is that we empower a generation to not only succeed academically but to thrive in life with confidence and clarity.
