What They Set Out To Do

As a straight-A student with dyslexia at Nueva School, Mia was seeking guidance to develop a passion project focused on social media safety. While excelling academically in both science and humanities, she wanted to create something with real-world impact that could help her peers navigate social media responsibly. Despite her achievements in Model UN and National Charity League, Mia was struggling to identify her academic focus area and wanted a project that would showcase her interests while building valuable skills. She sought a mentor who could provide structure, expertise, and authentic guidance as she developed her project from concept to reality.

She hopes to secure summer internships that connect her interests in human well-being and social impact, building on the foundation of research and communication skills developed through her website project.
